The services of Hardy Boat Cruises and Ocean Adventure! are available separately or in combination. With one simple payment, you can receive:
- one or two day program
- package of educational programs, boat ride, meals, accomodations
- all activities within a 5 mile radius
- programs geared toward grades 3-8, other ages easily accomodated
- time to visit other attractions on the way here or home
- experienced, professional marine educators
- licensed, Coast Guard approved passenger vessel
- a menu of activities and programs to choose from
- incentives for fall trips to avoid the "spring rush"
By using a professional host at the ocean, the burden of field tripping is removed from the teacher. We know where to take the kids where it is safe, not crowded,a school bus can turn around and the many little feet will not have an environmental impact. This is true marine education, not just a boat ride or a chance to see the ocean. The programs dove-tail with the in-school marine education programs offered by Ocean Adventure! Possible activities include: tide pool exploration, viewing live plankton, visits to a seal rookery, Pemaquid Point Lighthouse and an archeological restoration of a 16th century village, plus much more.
